Alpine adventure trail Lauchernalp
At 14 distinctive points, young visitors experience a fascinating journey through the past and present of life on the alp. Through interactive slide holes, they receive vivid explanations of the plants, can milk a wooden cow, practise the typical swing of a scythe and compose their own song on bells. These playful stations are designed to gently familiarise young explorers with the riches of the Lötschental and at the same time convey the importance of a multi-layered cultural landscape. The hike with children takes about 1.5 hours, with a pure hiking time of about 45 minutes.
Lauchernalp - Fafleralp legend trail
The popular Lötschental Legend Trail, including a legend quiz specially designed for children, is an ideal destination for family excursions. This route from the Lauchernalp mountain station to Fafleralp without any major differences in altitude takes the whole family into the fascinating world of myths and fairy tales. QR codes are attached to the tree trunks. By simply scanning them with your smartphone, you can easily read the legends on your own mobile phone. Answer the tricky questions on the legend quiz during your hike. A small reward awaits you if you answer correctly! You can obtain the legend quiz and the gift from the Lötschental information centre, Lauchernalp Bergbahnen AG or at the Gastro & Camping on the Fafleralp.
