You can expect a demanding but beautiful ascent to the Bietschhornhütte. The path first takes you through a forest, then the panorama opens up from "Brunnä." From there, you walk under the Nest Glacier up to a cliff. Sure-footedness is then required up to the hut. Ropes help you cross the slope. The ascent is rewarded with a warm welcome at the Bietschhornhütte. The cake buffet is extraordinary and the dishes are delicious. Downward you return to "Brunnä" by the same path, then turn left towards Wiler.
