You can expect a challenging but beautiful ascent to the Bietschhorn hut. The path leads over the Lonza and gently uphill towards the valley. Through the Obre forest, the path rises steadily and steeply. Through the wild landscape of the Arbschluichen, you reach the Howitzen viewpoint. Now only a few more meters of altitude remain until the Bietschhorn hut. The ascent is rewarded with a warm welcome at the Bietschhorn hut. The cake buffet is outstanding and the dishes are delicious. Descend the same way down.
