Luegli

Chalet Luegli is a beautiful, modern chalet where you can take a break from your working life. It is located on the Lauchernalp, which is 1.5 hours' drive from Bern. The chalet is located on the sunny side of the Lötschental and offers a magnificent view of the Bietschhorn and the Lötschenlücke, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Thanks to the modern infrastructure of Lauchernalp - sports shop, laundry, restaurants, indoor swimming pool and ski school - great holidays are possible all year round. There are other activities on offer throughout the Lötschental. In summer, the Lötschenthal is a wonderful hiking area, with unspoilt flora and fauna and mountain lakes offering pure nature. In winter, the possibilities are endless. Skiers and snowboarders have 18 kilometres of groomed pistes at their disposal. Feeriders will find unspoilt slopes, couloirs and valleys. Lauchernalp is an excellent starting point for tours, but snowshoe hikes are also possible. There are cross-country ski trails in the valley below. Infos for arrival (Check-In)

For visitors by car from the north or east: Motorway via Zurich or Basel to Bern. Continue on the A6 motorway in the direction of Spiez. Then take the well-maintained main road to Kandersteg to the car loading point, from where you can take the car train to Goppenstein in 15 minutes. Car train connections variable until 2024, timetable at www.bls.ch/autoverlad. It is only a few kilometres from Goppenstein station to the Wiler/Lötschental aerial cableway. Travelling by train The Lötschental is easily accessible with the hourly Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon regional train. From Goppenstein you can reach the valley station of the Wiler mountain cable car in a few minutes by bus in the direction of Fafleralp.
