The natural landscape, tradition and customs of the Lötschental exert an irresistible fascination on creative artists. One of them is Albert Nyfeler, known as "the painter of the Lötschental". His works reflect his deep emotions at the sight of the mountains and local everyday life and form a rich artistic heritage. Nyfeler's paintings have become symbols of the Lötschental, while as a talented draughtsman and photographer he became the chronicler of a world long gone. Following in the footsteps of Albert Nyfeler, we discover the Lötschental Museum and the idyllic village of Kippel.
