Breithorn Trail
Bild: Tourist Information Lötschental,Breithorn Trail
Mountainbiking: Wiler aerial cableway
The route is designed as a fun descent, but it is neither a flow trail nor a downhill route. The route choice is suitable for the passionate pleasure biker and families. For the ambitious biker, the route is the ideal entry route in the morning or as a connecting route to the tour from Leukerbad or Jeizinen.
The starting point is Lauchernalp. Via a connecting road, the trail leads to Fieschbiel and the Netzbord, where the (trail) fun begins. From here, a single trail winds its way to the village of Weissenried. The trail runs above Weissenried and then leads to the hamlet of Ried. Here a restaurant invites you to stop for a bite to eat. Along the Lonza you ll return to the valley station of the cable car in Wiler. The route is not recommended in the opposite direction.
