Temporary Closure of the Blatten–Weissenried Cantonal Road

The Valais Canton Mobility Office announces that, due to planned slope stabilization work in the Antoniuskehr area along the Blatten-Weissenried route, temporary road closures affecting all traffic will be necessary.

Due to the slope stabilization work in the Antoniuskehr area, the Gassen–Eisten section will be closed to all traffic at the following times:

Monday, October 5, through Thursday, October 8, from 11:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day
Monday, October 12, through Thursday, October 15, from 11:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day

On these days, the PostBus routes departing at 11:35 a.m. and 1:35 p.m. from Lauchernalp toward Fafleralp, as well as the routes departing at 1:25 p.m. and 2:25 p.m. from Fafleralp toward Lauchernalp, will also be canceled. Please check the relevant schedules and thank you for your understanding.
