Road closure Netzbord - Blatten 18.05.- 27.06.2026

The municipality of Blatten informs: Preparations for the resurfacing work on the emergency and cantonal road will begin on Mon, 18.05.2026. To ensure that the work can be carried out efficiently, the road will be closed during the day from Monday to Saturday. Total closures will be necessary in some cases. A driving permit must be applied for in order to use the road. The winter closure of the cantonal road between Stampbach and Fafleralp remains in place.

Around 3,000 cubic meters of material are required for the fine grading and surfacing, which will be brought in on site in 450 truck journeys.

To avoid friction on the road and ensure that the work can be carried out quickly, the road will be closed on weekdays from 07:00 to 17:00. Total road closures are planned in sections to allow the asphalt to harden properly. Details of the closures can be found in the attachment to this message.

Until 27.06.2026, use of the road outside of working hours is reserved for the authorities, construction workers, craftsmen, emergency services, contractors, farmers, contracted companies and owners of intact residential properties.

A driving permit must be requested from the municipality of Blatten and will only be issued in justified cases.

Failure to comply with the driving ban will result in a fine.
