The Wiler-Lauchernalp cable car is open daily until 08 November.
The Lauchernalp–Stafel chairlift will operate on weekends weather permitting.
Daily bus services between Lauchernalp and Fafleralp with compulsory seat reservations via www.sbb.ch. On 14 and 15 October 2026, all bus services will be suspended between 11.45 and 15.00.

Road Closure: Goppenstein–Blatten, October 15–16, 2026

The Valais Cantonal Mobility Department announces: Due to urgent repair work on the power line at Wandschluichen, the cantonal road will be closed from Thursday, 15 October 2026, at 8.00 pm (the PostBus at 8.03 pm will still run as far as Wiler) until Friday 16 October 2026 at 6.00 am (first PostBus at 6.30 am), the cantonal road will be completely closed to all traffic. There is no alternative route.

Access for pedestrians will remain unimpeded. Emergency medical care is guaranteed.
