Road Closure: Forest and Alpine Roads in Ferden
The hiking trail from Faldumalp to the Ferden Hermitage is closed immediately through November 6, 2026, due to logging operations.

Lötschental Public Works and Forestry Department
The Wiler–Lauchernalp cable car will operate daily until 8 November.
The bus service between Lauchernalp and Fafleralp will run until 1 November; (weather permitting) seat reservations via www.sbb.ch are compulsory.
