The Wiler-Alpen road will be officially opened to traffic on Saturday, May 2.
The municipality of Wiler is responsible for issuing permits to drive onto the Wiler Alps. The municipality of Blatten is responsible for transit permits on the Wiler-Netzbord-Blatten route. From May 18 until the middle/end of June, a very high volume of traffic (approx. 30 truck journeys per day) is to be expected due to asphalting work (emergency road Netzbord-Wyssried-Blatten).
In order to ensure that the work runs smoothly, the municipality of Wiler asks the population to plan private journeys before the start of work (07:00) and after the end of work (17:00) and to reduce journeys to an absolute minimum. During these 3 to 4 weeks, the work will last from Monday to Saturday.
