The 6-person chairlift between Lauchernalp and Stafel operates from 11 July daily at good weather.
Daily bus service between Lauchernalp and Fafleralp, and between Wiler and Faldumalp/Kummenalp.
Tickets can be purchased and seats reserved via www.sbb.ch or the SBB app.

Bus Service: Lauchernalp to Fafleralp

Between June 27, 2026, and October 25, 2026, a public transportation service will be introduced between Lauchernalp and Fafleralp.

Reservations are required for all trips (by 4:00 p.m. the evening before at the latest) via the SBB app.

Minibuses with 20 seats each will be used for scheduled service. Due to limited passenger capacity, reservations are required for all trips. Connections to and from the aerial tramway at Lauchernalp and in Wiler are guaranteed.

Fares:

Lauchernalp – Fafleralp

  • Full price: CHF 14.80
  • Half-Fare Card / GA: CHF 7.40

Terms and Conditions:

  • GA and day passes are accepted as Half-Fare passes
  • Monthly passes are not valid
  • The Lötschental Card is not valid
  • Daily, weekly, and seasonal passes for the mountain railways are not valid on the PostAuto line
  • The MagicPass is not valid
  • Junior Card is not valid

Direct connection between Wiler – Eisten – Fafleralp

All trips require a reservation (by 4:00 p.m. the evening before at the latest) via the SBB app.

From June 29 to October 23, 2026, direct connections will also be offered between Fafleralp, Blatten/Eisten, and Wiler (valley station). The following departures run Monday through Friday:
