Wild romantic hike in the remotest part of the Lötschental (also possible as a 2-day route).

The first part of this impressive hike leads first from Fafleralp always along the right side of the valley up to the Anenhütte. The path is partly quite technical and especially in the upper part also pleasantly steep. The Anusee forms the turning point of the route. Soon you reach the Peter Tscherrig Anenhütte. Here you can recharge your strength for the steep descent towards Fafleralp (an overnight stay in the Anenhütte is also possible). The Anenhütte, newly built in 2008, lies amid a fantastic high mountain landscape. In the background, the jagged ice masses of the Anung glacier tower and flow as a blue-white ribbon down to the Lang glacier. This lies about 100 meters lower in elevation than the hut. The view sweeps over the crevasses and up to the Lötschenlücke. The view from the terrace of the Anenhütte over the whole Lötschental is fantastic.

On the second part of this hike, the trail with magnificent views of the Lang glacier descends steeply to the Lonza. On the other side of the valley, a path finally winds back to Fafleralp. This route is also recommended in the reverse direction.
