Cross-country skiing: Blatten, Post
The start is in the immediate vicinity of the "Blatten Post" post bus station and the large car park. At first the trail is relatively flat until Kühmatt. Here you can then visit the baroque chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary - the destination of regional pilgrimages and one of the most impressive places of grace in the valley. The present chapel was built under Prior Bartholomäus Indergassen, 1646 - 1663. Take time to linger quietly in this place of faith and trace the depths of your own heart.
After a further relatively flat stretch, the road climbs in serpentine curves up to the Fafleralp. Here in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, a loop leads even further into unspoilt nature. Back at Fafleralp, the route takes the same route back to Blatten.
ATTENTION: Mixed traffic!
