Electric radiators in all rooms and a pellet stove in the hallway provide cosy warmth throughout the house. On the ground floor: cloakroom with boot dryer and plenty of storage space, utility room with washing machine/dryer, ski room with sledges and bobsleds for shared use Additionally in summer: small seating area with charcoal grill, table and chairs, bicycle storage room and car parking space Shopping facilities: Volg shop next to the Wiler valley station, sports shop next to the mountain station. Infos for arrival (Check-In)

Chalet Heidi on Lauchernalp (1,969 metres above sea level) is a five-minute walk from the mountain station. In summer, Lauchernalp can be reached by car. In winter, the alp is car-free and you can reach it by cable car. Transport of equipment can be arranged at the gondola lift, and a snowmobile will bring your goods to the chalet. Check-in: The holiday apartment is available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. Keys are handed over individually. Check-out: On the day of departure: 10 a.m.
Sunny, snow-sure and closer than you think! Surrounded by the impressive mountain scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Lauchernalp ski area is easily accessible by cable car, two chairlifts, a gondola lift, a ski lift and a conveyor belt, and is located between 1,400 and 3,100 metres above sea level. It offers 40 km of attractive, wide slopes of all levels of difficulty, the highest winter hiking trail and snowshoe trail in Europe at over 3000 m above sea level, with views of over forty 4000-metre peaks in the Alps. The Lötschental is an Eldorado for ski touring and freeriders. For cross-country skiers and winter hikers, the Lötschental offers 35 km of winter hiking trails, 25 km of snowshoe trails and 24 km of trails for classic and skating. Brigerbad and Leukerbad can be reached from Wiler in about 45 minutes.
