Chalet Heidi

Welcome to Chalet Heidi on the Lauchernalp, the sun terrace of the Lötschental. 2000m above sea level. Location: Chalet Heidi on the Lauchernalp (1969 metres above sea level) is a 5-minute walk from the mountain station. In summer the Lauchernalp can be reached by car. In winter the alp is car-free and you can reach the alp by cable car. Material transports can be registered with the cable car and a snowmobile will bring your goods to the chalet. Flat description: The 4½-room flat has a living space of approx. 50m2 and can accommodate a maximum of 5 people. Electric radiators in all rooms and a pellet stove in the hallway bring cosy warmth into the house. Room programme: - Kitchen - cum-living room with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge and Nesspresso capsule machine, raclette and fondue set - A small sofa offers reading space for cosy hours - Bedroom 1 with double bed and wardrobe - Bedroom 2 with double bunk bed and chest of drawers - Bedroom 3 with bed and wardrobe - Corridor area with pellet stove - Wardrobe with shoe dryer and plenty of storage space - Shower/WC - Utility room with WM/TB - Ski room with sledges and bobsleigh for shared use Additional in summer: - Small seating area with charcoal barbecue, table and chairs - Bicycle room - Car parking space Surroundings: The Volg shop next to the Wiler valley station offers shopping facilities. There is also a sports shop next to the mountain station. There are three restaurants on the Lauchernalp where you can stop for refreshments. Activities: Sunny, snow-sure and closer than you think! Surrounded by the imposing mountain scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Lauchernalp ski area is well served by a cable car, two chairlifts, a gondola lift, a ski lift and a conveyor belt and lies between 1400 and 3100 metres above sea level, offering you 40 km of attractive and wide pistes of all levels of difficulty. Lauchernalp is also home to Europe's highest winter hiking trail and snowshoe trail at over 3000 metres above sea level, with views of over forty 4000-metre peaks in the Alps. The Lötschental is an Eldorado for ski tours and freeriders. For cross-country skiers and winter hikers, the Lötschental offers 35 kilometres of winter hiking trails, 25 kilometres of snowshoe trails and 24 kilometres of classic and skating trails. Brigerbad and Leukerbad can be reached from Wiler in approx. 45 minutes.
