Infos for arrival (Check-In)

1) Drive past Goppenstein railway station on the left and continue up the main road upwards the mountains following signs for the Loetschental valley. After Ferden and Kippel you arrive on the left of the main road at the Luftseilbahn (Cable Car) at Wiler where you can park at 3 different parking sites. a) For all these parking sites you need to pay around CHF 8 per day; you can prepay at the machine for the whole week so that you can drive in and out freely. For an extra cost of CHF 9 per day there are covered spaces available in the parking house on the highest parking site to the left of the Luftseilbahn. b) SUMMER: in the summer you can buy by the Parking Pay App a permit for around CHF 50 to drive up the private road at the end of Wiler following the sign Lauchernalp. On the private road, after 7 turns and 15 minutes you will pass first the hamlet Fischbiel on your right, then the Alpine Village apartment complex to your left. At that moment you see the chalets with the large panoramic windows on your right. Just before the electricity house you turn right (better to continue a bit to make the turnaround safely in the next big curve) on the private road. Our chalet is the fifth one on the right with sign Ashworther Hütte - parking is directly at the back of the house. c) WINTER: in winter you can temporarily park to the left of the Luftseilbahn to unload luggage. If you have more than one bag, one rucksack and one pair of skis per persons, you can take a crate on wheels and load this up - for CHF15 it will be loaded under the gondola, for an additional CHF 35 the snow cat will deliver it to the door of the chalet. The Mountain railway ticket office to buy lift passes is located right and behind of the Luftseilbahn on the ground floor of the small apartment complex. The gondola runs every 20 minutes at :05, :25 and :45, exact times, especially for the late runs on Friday and Saturday, you can find on www.lauchernalp.ch / www.loetschental.ch. d) From the gondola coming up, you can see all the panoramic glass chalets to the right. At the Luftseilbahn (mountain station) - after a 4 minute ride - you may either walk down the mountain, by turning right out of the station, past the ski shop and the ski school, follow the road round to the right, straight down behind the Luftseilbahn and the steps (on the right) and follow the road round to the left, past the electricity hut (on the left) and then take the left fork up the private road between the new chalets (we are the fifth chalet on the right) OR from the Luftseilbahn you can also take a lift 3 levels down, or the stairs just after the ski shop which take you to the food shop, and then walk down the steps to the road, turn right and follow the road to the electricity hut etc.
