Alpine Village Nr. 2.4 - Apartment Leuenberger
The Alpine Village Lauchernalp Resort enjoys a sunny location in the Lauchernalp holiday region with views of the magical Lötschental valley, surrounded by 40 four-thousand-metre peaks and the Bietschhorn. The holiday park comprises ten residential buildings (each with 8 holiday apartments); the central building (nos. 9 and 10) houses an indoor swimming pool and sauna (only open in winter). Ski-in/ski-out possible, approx. 80 metres to the mountain station of the cable car, ski transport twice daily by snowmobile. Alternatively, the valley run leads directly past the holiday park to the village, from where you can reach the valley station of the cable car in 10-15 minutes on foot. Due to the hillside location, some of the house entrances are above the ground floor flats. Each flat has a lockable ski box and a cloakroom in the entrance area. The following resort facilities are available for shared use: Heated indoor swimming pool/sauna (in winter season), pool table/table tennis, children's playhouse, laundry room with washing machine/tumble dryer, morning ski transport to the gondola lift, bread/wine/wood service from the caretaker

Paid parking spaces are available at the valley station of the Wiler-Lauchernalp cable car. In winter, Lauchernalp is car-free and can only be reached by cable car (or on foot). In summer, you can drive to the Alpine Village via the Alpine road, which requires a permit and is subject to a charge; there are no public parking spaces and very few visitor parking spaces available. The Alpine road is paved throughout, but narrow in places. When encountering oncoming traffic, you must use the passing places. The journey takes approx. 15 to 20 minutes. Driving permits can be purchased via the Parkingpay app from Digitalparking AG. Rates: 1 day: CHF 20.00, 3 days: CHF 30.00, 1 week: CHF 50.00, season: CHF 100.00 In summer, travel on the cable car is free of charge upon presentation of a valid guest card. Luggage transport To save you having to carry your luggage yourself, the mountain railway offers a luggage transport service: drop off at the valley station in Wiler, transport to your accommodation and return transport can be booked at the mountain station (advance booking recommended).
