The cosy Valais wooden house was built in 1935 and has been continuously renovated. It has 8 spacious rooms with shower or bath, WC and some with balcony. The house is easily accessible by public transport (bus stop directly in front of the house). There are hourly bus connections to the valley and back. The restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday.

For visitors by car From the north or east: Motorway via Zurich or Basel to Bern. Continue on the A6 motorway in the direction of Spiez. Then follow the well-maintained main road to Kandersteg to the car loading point, from where you can take the car train to Goppenstein in 15 minutes. It is only a few kilometres from Goppenstein railway station to the Wiler/Lötschental aerial cableway. Travelling by train The Lötschental lies on the international north-south transport axis of the BLS and is easily accessible by train. All regional trains on the international Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon-Italy line stop every hour in Goppenstein, at the entrance to the Lötschental. From Goppenstein you can reach the valley station of the Lauchernalp Bergbahnen Wiler in a few minutes by bus in the direction of Fafleralp.
