Four rules for more nature:
- Observe game rest zones and game reserves (prohibited areas). (Map of protected areas: see link below)
- Stay on the marked routes and paths
- Avoid forest edges and snow-free areas
- keeping dogs on a leash - especially in the forest
Here you can download the game rest zones and ban areas in the Lötschental.
During the winter, you are not allowed to enter the Swiss Federal banned areas or game rest zones on skis outside marked pistes or routes. Failure to comply with this rule may result in sanctions (fines).
