Blatten Lötschental Foundation
The Blatten/Lötschental charitable foundation was established in May 1997 with over 70 donors. Since then, our family of foundations has grown considerably.
Due to the enormous structural change in agriculture, the village infrastructure remains increasingly unused. The consequences are obvious: old houses, barns and stables are falling apart. Renovations require considerable resources and architectural understanding. For agricultural buildings, which sometimes belong to more than 16 owners (communities of heirs), this often means unstoppable decay.
