TragBar has been in existence since 2021. The aim is to encourage mountain hikers to think about the increasing number of supply flights. number of supply flights, to give food and drink in the huts a different status again and to preserve and to preserve peace and quiet in the mountains. To kick off the season, you will carry wood and food from the Lötschental to the Bietschhorn hut. All carriers will be rewarded with food and drink in the hut. The event is well suited as "Hike & Fly" training. There is a paragliding launch site next to the hut. Start in Ried in the Lötschental. Arrival by public transport is possible and recommended. The depot is very close to the Ried (Lötschen) stop. Wood can be obtained from the depot between 8:30 and 13:30. The event will take place even if it rains.
