Mask inspires art In 2023, the internationally renowned Valais designer Kévin Germanier created an amazing Lötschental mask. The work was commissioned by the Valais Cantonal Bank for the "Tradition inspires innovation" advertising campaign. The mask will be on display at the Lötschental Museum from January 31. An evening event will be held to mark the opening of the exhibition. This will focus in particular on the question of the extent to which the Lötschental wooden masks served as a source of inspiration for artists and advertising experts. After a historical presentation, Christian Zenzünen, Lukas Ebener and Angelo Werlen will discuss the exhibition with the curatorial team.
