Climbing camps for children aged 7 to 12 and teenagers aged 13-17 during the summer vacation. "...climbing is somehow natural - it's about moving and discovering in nature ..." What do the climbing camps do for the children? Mastering climbing routes promotes self-confidence Securing climbing partners teaches a sense of responsibility Abseiling requires courage and overcoming strength Gain independent experience Discovering nature What are our goals? To offer motivated children the opportunity to climb Promoting the sport of climbing Enabling experiences in nature Professional leadership through our experience as mountain guides All climbing camps are led by local mountain guides, because safety is our top priority. Children's climbing camp for 7-12 year olds: July 11 - 13, 2025 Teen climbing camp for 13-17 year olds: July 18 - 20, 2025 Costs: Fr. 80.-/child/day (incl. material). The amount will be collected directly at the start of the course. The cost for a child attending all three days is 210. Meeting point: 10.00 a.m. at the Lauchernalp cable car valley station. In case of doubtful weather conditions we will inform the parents via SMS. If you have any further questions, please call 079 736 82 69. The children can be picked up again at the Wiler Lauchernalp cable car at 4.00 pm. Groups: For safety reasons, the number of children per mountain guide is limited to 6. The camps are held for groups of 5 children/teens or more. Equipment: climbing shoes if available, otherwise hiking boots. Sneakers are not suitable. Helmet (bike) and lunch. Other equipment is provided by the camp. Catering: Participating children should bring lunch and enough to drink in a rucksack. Insurance: Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
