Important information for ski tourers

The municipality of Blatten informs: Based on Article 6 of the Law on Civil Protection and the Management of Special and Extraordinary Situations (GBBAL) in conjunction with Art. 8 VBBAL, the municipal council of the municipality of Blatten issues the following mandatory preventive measure as of 27.07.2025 and until the special situation is lifted:

• 1. the municipal territory of Blatten is declared a restricted zone.
• 2. access to the restricted zone is generally prohibited
• 3. a ban on the use of buildings on the municipal territory of Blatten applies.

The decisions of the municipal council regarding easier access to the restricted zone via corridors were revoked as of 30.11.2025.
The restricted zone is monitored day and night with cameras and drones.
