FAFLERALP Sessions 2025
The Fafleralp at 1,787 meters above sea level - at the very back of the Lötschental (Valais, Switzerland) - stands for peace, simplicity and nature. At this unique location, on a hill in the middle of a small larch forest, the FAFLERALP Sessions will once again take place from 29.05. - 01.06.2025. The sacred chapel has a capacity of exactly 100 people (seated).
The festival
The FAFLERALP Sessions are increasingly establishing themselves as a singer-songwriter festival. In keeping with the location, we are looking for quieter sounds and touching lyrics. A small, fine and somewhat exclusive festival for music lovers and music enthusiasts.
The program
Thu. May 29, 2025
The line-up starts on 29.05.2025 with the promising Valais multi-instrumentalist Esteban Lattion. With a gentle and intimate voice, he does what good singer/songwriters do: he tells stories of normal everyday madness.
Remo Forrer closes the first day of the festival. At the age of 22, the winner of "The Voice of Switzerland" and "The Masked Singer Switzerland" is already considered an exceptional talent. 2023 he represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC). His hit "Watergun" has been streamed over 21 million times on Spotify.
Fri. May 30, 2025
The second day of the festival will be opened by Bukhu Gangburged. The Mongolian musician, who lives in Australia, is a master student at the Ulaanbaatar Music and Dance Conservatory in Mongolia. Bukhu combines virtuoso "morin khuur" (horse-headed fiddle) and "khuumii" (overtone singing), transmitting the harmony of Mongolian nomads and shamanic culture through time and space. In his most recent performances, Bukhu also explores experimental and electro-acoustic soundscapes.
"Schön genug" is the name of the song that made German musician Lina Maly famous in 2016. Her current "Tour d'amour" is taking her to major cities throughout Germany, Austria and, for the first time, Switzerland - and yes, also to the FAFLERALP Sessions at 1,787 meters above sea level! Lina Maly explains her view of things with subtle lyrics. Feelings are put into words - interpreted with a strong and gentle voice. There will be very intimate moments at the FAFLERALP Sessions, in which Lina presents her emotional world directly to the audience.
Sat. May 31, 2025
Nina Dimitri, who plays concerts all over the world, enchants the audience with her quartet "Mükka" with South American and Swiss folk songs. Nina Dimitri perfected her guitar and charango playing in Bolivia. Thanks to her unique voice and her deep expressiveness, her concerts are unforgettable experiences. Thomas Aeschbacher, a gifted composer and Schwyzerörgeli player, will also be there. He has held the Golden Violin Clef, the highest award in Swiss folk music, since 2023.
Jared Lembo , just 20 years old, winner of the small Prix Walo 2022 and on the verge of a promising music career. The "Best Talent October 2024" wrote his first song at the age of 13. With an open and honest nonchalance and coolness, Jared plays a hit pop sound in which he primarily addresses love, but also the difficulty of never having been in a relationship.
