12 interactive stations will bring you closer to winter in the Lötschental - ideal for families and children!

There are 10 information and experience-stations on a wide range of winter topics along the approximately 5 km-long trail, including "The Miracle Of Snow", "Avalanches - The White Peril" to " Where Are All The Animals In Winter?", which can be investigated at the interactive stations. For instance, visitors can look at snow crystals through a kaleidoscope at the "Miracle of Snow" station or allocate different pelts to animals in “feely-boxes” at the "You Are What You Eat" station. Ideal for families and children!

Public transport

The postbus runs from Gampel-Steg or Goppenstein to Wiler ("Wiler, Seilbahn" postbus stop). Take the cable car up to the Lauchernalp

Journey

Drive into the Lötschental from Goppenstein, past the villages of Ferden and Kippel as far as Wiler to the valley cable car station. Take the cable car up to the Lauchernalp.

Parking

You can park your car in the outdoor car park or in the indoor car park beside the cable car valley station (not free).
