Beautiful trail from Blatten to the Fafleralp across the UNESCO World Heritage area.

The start is right next to the PostBus station "Blatten Dorf" and the large car park. First, the trail is relatively flat until Kuehmatt. Here you can visit the baroque chapel of Mariä Heimsuchung - it is the destination of regional pilgrimages and considered one of the most impressive places of grace in the valley. The current chapel was built under Prior Bartholomäus Indergassen, 1646 - 1663. Take your time to quietly linger at this place of faith and reflect deeply within your own heart.

After another relatively flat section, the route climbs in switchback curves up to the Fafleralp. Here in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, a loop continues further into the untouched nature. Returning to the Fafleralp, the same path leads back to Blatten.
