The Fischbiel taxi runs daily in winter from 08h40 - 16h40 every half hour and costs CHF 42.00/week for adults and CHF 26.00/week for children 6-16. For visitors by car From the north or east: Motorway via Zurich or Basel to Bern. Continue on the A6 motorway in the direction of Spiez. Then take the well-maintained main road to Kandersteg to the car transport station, from where you can take the car train to Goppenstein in 15 minutes. Please be sure to consult the BLS car transport online timetable before travelling. It is only a few kilometres from Goppenstein railway station to the Wiler/Lötschental aerial cableway. Travelling by train The Lötschental is easily accessible by train. A regional train on the Bern-Lötschberg-Brig/Domodossola line stops every hour in Goppenstein, at the entrance to the Lötschental. From Goppenstein, you can reach the valley station of the Wiler mountain railway in a few minutes by bus in the direction of Fafleralp.
