Spatzennest

The chalet "Spatzennest" is a cosy chalet on a south-facing slope, which was completed in January 2010. It is located directly in the ski area above the cable car station. This means that you can ski straight from the front door to the lift and back again from the piste.

Infos for arrival (Check-In)

For visitors travelling by car from the north or east: Motorway via Zurich or Basel to Bern. Continue on the A6 motorway in the direction of Spiez. Then take the well-maintained main road to Kandersteg to the car loading point, from where you can take the car train to Goppenstein in 15 minutes. Please note the special timetable until 2024 due to renovation work www.bls.ch/autoverlad. It is only a few kilometres from Goppenstein railway station to the Wiler/Lötschental cable car. Travelling by train The Lötschental is easily accessible by train. The Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon regional trains stop every hour in Goppenstein, at the entrance to the Lötschental. From Goppenstein you can reach the valley station of the Wiler mountain cable car in a few minutes by bus in the direction of Fafleralp. Arrival by aeroplane International airports in Geneva, Zurich and Milan. Regional airports in Bern and Sion.
