Pure relaxation in a historic Valais house at the village fountain of Kippel. Our cosy, approx. 47 sqm flat is located in the historic village centre of Kippel, directly opposite the village fountain, 1 minute's walk away from the rustic restaurant "Dorfkeller". It is located on the ground floor of a 3-party holiday house, which was built around 1600. It is part of an ensemble of buildings of similar construction, which make up the incomparable charm of the old village centre of Kippel. The flat has 2.5 rooms and is suitable for 2 adults and a maximum of 2 children. Our flat in facts: - practical built-in cupboard in the entrance area - spacious kitchen with Tiba wood cooker, 4 plate induction cooker with extractor hood, washer-dryer (no dishwasher) and dining table for 4 persons - small shower room with rainforest shower, towel heating and daylight - open plan living/sleeping area with sitting area for 4-6 persons, sofa bed, DVD player, TV set (only for playing DVDs, no TV connection) and Wifi - Sleeping area with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and access to the small but nice west-facing balcony The flat is heated by the Tiba wood stove in the kitchen and an electric hot plate heater. Wood for the stove can be found in front of the house in the middle wood stall. Here is also the parking space, which can be used by all 3 parties of the house. Should it ever be occupied, there is further parking space approx. 25 metres away (public parking spaces) or covered in the Kippel multi-storey car park (approx. 300 metres away). From our flat you can easily reach on foot 3 restaurants (Dorfkeller, Petersgrat, Bietschhorn), the bakery, the Lötschental Museum, the Albert Nyfeler Atelierhaus, petrol station / car garage, a beauty salon and a hairdresser (max. distance approx. 5 minutes). The valley station of the gondola, which takes you from Wiler to Lauchernalp for hiking or skiing, is about 7 minutes away on foot. There is of course also a bus connection to Wiler, the bus stop Kippel Altersheim can be reached in about 2 minutes. The cross-country skiing and hiking trail network begins at the edge of the village of Kippel. From here, hiking trails lead you up to Fafleralp, Lötschenpasshütte or, for the more experienced, to the Bietschhorn. Costs that are added to the price of the overnight stay: - One-off flat rate of CHF 10.00 per person for laundry (bed linen, table and kitchen linen, hand and bath towels) - One-off flat rate of CHF 90.00 for final cleaning of the flat - Visitor's tax CHF 4.80 for adults / CHF 2.40 for children (6-16 years) Children sleeping in their parents' bed stay with us free of charge. For children sleeping on the pull-out couch, we charge an overnight rate reduced by 50%. Pets/dogs are welcome, for the increased cleaning effort we charge a one-time flat rate of CHF 30.00.
