Comfortable chalet built in 2004 on a sun terrace of the Lauchernalp / Lötschental and a maximum occupancy of 2 adults plus 2 children or teenagers up to 16 years. The chalet offers 2 bedrooms on the ground floor with a total of 4 beds, a bathroom with the pleasant comfort of underfloor heating and its own sauna. Upstairs you will find the fully equipped kitchen, the cosy dining area and the comfortably furnished living area with satellite TV, music system, telephone and wood-burning stove. Access to the south and west-facing balcony opens up marvellous views and offers sun worshippers the best conditions. Ski slopes of all levels of difficulty and a child-friendly ski and snowboard school are located in the immediate vicinity and can be reached without the hassle of walking. There are 33 km of pistes available. Cross-country skiers can look forward to 30 km of groomed trails and hikers can enjoy beautiful winter hiking trails. Ski tourers and off-piste skiers also get their money's worth. In winter, the Alp is car-free and can only be reached by cable car. Car parks are available at the valley station. Passengers and luggage are transported by cable car. Onward transport to the chalet can be done by snow groomer for a fee.

Infos for arrival (Check-In)

For visitors by car from the north or east: Motorway via Zurich or Basel to Bern. Continue on the A6 motorway in the direction of Spiez. Then take the well-maintained main road to Kandersteg to the car loading point, from where you can take the car train to Goppenstein in 15 minutes. Please note the online timetable of the BLS car loading station. It is only a few kilometres from Goppenstein station to the Wiler/Lötschental aerial cableway. Travelling by train The Lötschental is easily accessible by train. All regional trains on the Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon line stop every hour in Goppenstein, at the entrance to the Lötschental. From Goppenstein you can reach the valley station of the Wiler mountain cable car in a few minutes by bus in the direction of Fafleralp. Arrival by aeroplane International airports in Geneva, Zurich and Milan. Regional airports in Bern and Sion.

Conditions/Extras

Terms of payment: A deposit of 40% of the rental price must be paid 10 days after conclusion of the rental contract. The final instalment must be paid up to 1 month before the day of arrival. Service charges: Flat-rate energy costs (in the summer and autumn months 70-80 francs per week; in winter 140 francs per week). To be settled on site: Final cleaning 130 francs Bed linen and kitchen linen 20 francs per person Visitor's tax Please bring: personal towels (e.g. sauna towel) The minimum rental period is 7 days; arrival and departure days are always on Saturday for administrative reasons. Arrival is possible from 15:00, departure must be by 09:30. Deviations from this rule are only possible in consultation with our manager on site.
