Der Höhen-Panoramaweg auf der Lauchernalp ist der höchste Winterwanderweg Europas (3'100 m ü.M.)! Die gut präparierte Strecke führt Sie von der Bergstation der Gletscherbahn unter dem Hockenhorn durch zu einem einmaligen Aussichtspunkt, der den Blick auf 40 Viertausender freigibt. Das Panorama ist einzigartig. Es lohnt sich daher einen sonnigen Tag abzuwarten.

Anreise
Öffentlicher Verkehr
The postbus runs every hour from Gampel/Steg or Goppenstein to Wiler ("Wiler, Seilbahn" postbus stop). Take the cable car up to the Lauchernalp, then continue on a 6-seater and a 3-seater chairlift to Gandegg mountain station and then take the Gletscherbahn gondola to the Hockenhorngrat.
Anfahrt
You can reach the Lötschental via the A9 motorway to Gampel-Steg. Then continue on the A6 motorway to Goppenstein and Wiler. You can also reach Goppenstein via the Lötschberg car transport from Kandersteg (A6).
From Wiler, take the cable car up to Lauchernalp and then the 6-seater chairlift, followed by the 3-seater chairlift to the Gandegg mountain station and finally the glacier gondola to the Hockenhorngrat.
Parken
You can park your car in the car park or in the multi-storey car park at the valley station of the cable car in Wiler for a fee.

- Weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains, without warning. Appropriate clothing is therefore essential, along with adequate supplies of food and water. In uncertain weather, turn back in good time.
- Do not venture onto glaciers without a mountain guide. Take note of the warning signs that point out the constant danger, especially the danger of avalanches.
- Inform others of planned route, and whenever possible, avoid going alone.
