Schneeschuhlaufen: Blatten
Höhepunkt für genussvolle Schneeschuhwanderer
Ab Blatten folgen Sie dem Winterwanderweg bis zur ersten Brücke. Danach geht es auf der linken Seite der Lonza bis Kühmatt, wo Sie wieder zurück auf den markierten Winterwanderweg gelangen. Der Weg schlängelt sich in Serpentinen hinauf und führt Sie zum Parkplatz Fafleralp. Vorbei an der Gletscheralp halten Sie sich links bis zur Guggialp. Geniessen Sie hier einen Moment der Stille. Anschliessend geht es wieder hinunter zur Fafleralp, wo Sie vorbei am Hotel und durch ein kleines Wäldchen wieder auf den Winterwanderweg gelangen. Von Kühmatt geht es über den beschaulichen Weg nach Eisten und anschliessend zurück nach Blatten.

Anreise
Öffentlicher Verkehr
From Gampel/Steg or Goppenstein, the PostBus will take you to Blatten every hour. Post bus stop "Blatten, Post".
Anfahrt
From Goppenstein you drive into the Lötschental, past the villages of Ferden, Kippel, Wiler to Blatten, at the old post office.
Parken
You can park your car at the car park by the old post office in Blatten (subject to charge).

- Weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains, without warning. Appropriate clothing is therefore essential, along with adequate supplies of food and water. In uncertain weather, turn back in good time.
- Do not venture onto glaciers without a mountain guide. Take note of the warning signs that point out the constant danger, especially the danger of avalanches.
- Inform others of planned route, and whenever possible, avoid going alone.
